Kiss
Hard Rock 1977

Love Gun is the sixth studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on June 17, 1977, by Casablanca Records. Casablanca and FilmWorks shipped one million copies of the album on this date. It was certified platinum and became the band's first top 5 album on the Billboard 200.

“In my mind, it's the best KISS record. I really think it's a really good record, with obviously 'Love Gun,' super song. 'I Stole Your Love,' 'Got Love For Sale.' I mean, 'Shock Me,' it's a fucking fantastic record actually.”

“This was my first Kiss record that my parents bought me and it came with the little paper gun that popped out. Y'know they've gotten slack from a lot of people over the years but you can't deny their influence on most rock bands younger than them and they're definitely a main influence on me.”
