"The album that just grabbed me, grabbed me as a little kid was 'Hunky Dory' and I think it's just phenomenal."Watch this moment

Death Angel
Death Angel is a Filipino-American thrash metal band from Daly City, California, initially active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2001. What Death Angel said · 11 records
Every quote links to the moment in the episode."I picked this record up because I read about it, and when I put it on, the production just blew me away, the songwriting, the drums and the bass, everything was just, to me, just stellar."Watch this moment
"This was my first Kiss record that my parents bought me and it came with the little paper gun that popped out. Y'know they've gotten slack from a lot of people over the years but you can't deny their influence on most rock bands younger than them and they're definitely a main influence on me."Watch this moment
"I'm a Bon Scott guy, through and through, and all my friends know that. This was my first record by AC/DC and when I heard 'Let There Be Rock,' it just blew my mind. It blew my mind, it's like they were speaking to me, and I was like, yep."Watch this moment
"I, myself, 'Sabotage' guy, to the core. This record blew my mind, and I was already way into Sabbath and I heard this in my friend's car, first time I heard... yeah. This album was it."Watch this moment
"Absolutely love Judas Priest. To this day, I can't just listen to a song; I need to listen to the whole CD through. It's spectacular. They're just peaking, peaking with this."Watch this moment
"This is always my go-to record, of course I love the whole catalog but this takes me to a special place. Whenever we'd be at the house that we were tripping at, I would always leave at one point and go into a room by myself, sit by a speaker and put on Led Zeppelin II and just be in heaven."Watch this moment
"I love Elton John. 70's Elton John, some of the greatest things ever ever ever. This record, of course, gets a lot of attention because of 'Tiny Dancer.' Sure it is a great song, it's popular, that's not my reason for the record, I do love it but the final song on it, the last song is called 'Goodbye' and it's my favorite Elton John song."Watch this moment
"I love Nick Cave, he's someone that came along, again when I moved back from New York... 'Murder Ballads,' the beauty and the darkness behind it is just... and the irony is wonderful. It's produced amazingly well."Watch this moment
"Queen, one of my favorite bands of all time, Freddie Mercury, one of my favorite vocalists of all time. I mean, vocals spectacular, by all of them... the dubbing they were doing back then, that was unheard of... ironically my favorite song on it is just Freddie and a piano, a song called 'Lily of the Valley.'"Watch this moment
"This was my first introduction and you never forget your first introduction. I love Ronnie James Dio and I miss him."Watch this moment
