"That's the only record of theirs that I do not own. I've had a CD of that for a very long time. I have all of their records except that one."Watch this moment

Every quote links to the moment in the episode."this record I think is really great and to be a band of their caliber and size to not be afraid to kind of make a more left to center record like this I commend them."Watch this moment
"this is the record that came out and this record's very, very heavy and then this is the same songs but acoustic and stripped down... I remember driving and listening to this version of it and being like hearing like okay here comes the heavy part... it was just beautiful."Watch this moment
"this record's very, very heavy and then this is the same songs but acoustic and stripped down... I remember driving and listening to this version of it and being like hearing like okay here comes the heavy part like how are they going to do that and it just swooped in with all these strings and stuff and I was like [expletive] goddamn it Andy like how did you... it was just beautiful."Watch this moment
"Dio, Holy Diver, growing up in the 80s, you might know of the satanic Panic that was gripping the nation and this band literally terrified me... now I'm a massive fan and Dio is an incredible singer and the riffs are awesome."Watch this moment
"for me this is damn near perfect it is perfect to me I think everything about the recording the songs have a lot of discussion about adult themes... and the playing is immaculate... this is just an all-around perfect record."Watch this moment
"Before Public Enemy, it takes a nation of millions to hold us back... this record changed my life as a kid. Before I got into rock and roll, I kind of exclusively listened to Public Enemy for years and that one is insanely good, yeah front to back, no misses on that one, all hits."Watch this moment
"Live at Wembley Stadium, I would probably say Blur. Love Blur, love Britpop. I've got it all; the record's kind of messed up, but now with the reissue, it's going to be great."Watch this moment
"I love that song so much in any of its forms that I named my daughter IO. This to me is the top shelf recording of this song... The Dixie Cups really captured it all."Watch this moment
"Fugazi is probably one of the most important bands for me personally of like how I found out about punk rock. This band really opened the door to so many like the world of music outside that's not on the radio."Watch this moment
"Sca Dream by Jeff Rosenstock... he did like a really cool version of it because I think from our early days of touring what we always often saw younger people playing ska music was like what I guess they call third wave ska, which was like you know kind of goofy a little bit like it was sort of like a little bit silly and this is like coming at it with like a reverence and it's more like Operation Ivy than real big fish."Watch this moment
