"this is an album called Lifeforms. This came out in like '94 and it was a band that I felt was like really on the cutting edge of music at that time combining all these kind of samples, electronics and creating this kind of sound universe that was unlike anything else out there."Watch this moment

"Moondog was this really fascinating guy who was a little bit crazy. I think he wore like this Viking hat and used to parade around New York. His stuff I think is really ahead of its time; it's just got a great vibe, it's sort of minimal jazz saxophones with minimal percussion."Watch this moment
"if you're going to get some, Oxygène is a great, a great, great album. This album is a seminal piece of electronic music which everyone sort of knows, but this is not so well known."Watch this moment
"Zoolook is an album that samples a lot of unusual sounds. It's got members of Talking Heads playing bass on it, it's got a really cool lineup, it's really unusual. It feels very cutting edge of technology and art culture; this had a big impact on me growing up."Watch this moment
"Vangelis had a very crazy working method, which is why his records are so interesting. This album was when he moved to a different system; it's a really cool '80s synth record, and I still think it stands up really well today."Watch this moment
"Isaac Hayes' arrangements and the way he looked at music, you know, songs that are not just like here's a three-minute song, it expands them again. It's ambition, and I love the ambition in this record and the ambition in his music."Watch this moment
"this is a classic hip-hop record Incredible Bongo Band... it's famously got Apache... if you ever went to anything where there was break dancing this would have got pulled out of the bags within about 20 minutes."Watch this moment
"this was a good find I think this is John Barry's score to Mary Queen of Scots. Huge fan of John Barry he did two film scores kind of at his sort of I would say artistic peak of musicality when he did this."Watch this moment
"I think Oppenheimer is a fantastic score. I wish it hadn't come out the same year as Spider-Verse. There's loads of great film music around at the moment... every time he brings a new score out I get what I call the 50/50 rule, which is I go see it in cinema and 50% of me is really excited at what he's doing and how inspiring it is, and the other 50% of me is jealous, pissed off, and angry that there's someone out there doing stuff way better than I am."Watch this moment
"this is 29 on CD this is like one of the best film score albums of all time Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to The Last Temptation Of Christ... this is a phenomenal record that I feel has changed how film music sounds without anyone really realizing it."Watch this moment
"this is a beautiful album Harold Budd Pavilion of Dreams this is such a beautiful record... it is a beautiful record harp Celeste saxophone uh cannot recommend this enough."Watch this moment
