"It's cool the one that they went with, that's kind of a story connecting it and I haven't jammed it yet but I like her older stuff, I'm sure this will fall right in line."Watch this moment

Every quote links to the moment in the episode."I'm pretty sure the background behind this record is that it's somewhat dedicated to Ephram's dog that died, but it's just a hauntingly dark and sad and beautiful and kind of abstract instrumental rock record."Watch this moment
"Everyone I know is talking about this record right now and it's awesome. It's like a perfectly encapsulated new wave/80s goth record. Like a weirder Duran Duran. It's good, it's really good."Watch this moment
"Again, another Dais release. Youth Code 'Complication.' It's really killer, it's like industrial done properly; they're just good people, great music."Watch this moment
"Some amazing songs. My friend Merrick always talked about the audacity of writing a song called 'Rock n Roll Star' when you are not a rock n roll star. And there's all sorts of T. Rex riffs; there's just a million... obviously it's an Oasis record, it's great."Watch this moment
"I wanted to get this Morrissey 'Vauxhall and I.' It's pretty much Morrissey's Brit-pop record, essentially. This is tied with 'Viva Hate,' for me, for his two best records. Literally front to back, it's amazing, if you like Morrissey."Watch this moment
"Kodama, the new Alcest record. It's sort of a return to form, I guess, like their older records. Their record before this, Shelter, was sort of like a straightforward shoegazer album and this kind of goes back to more of its metal beginnings. This band's phenomenal."Watch this moment
"The Minor Victories record, self-titled. It's a new side project of Stewart from Mogwai and Rachel from Slowdive. It's really cinematic, reminiscent, sort of, of Mogwai's later material. It's weird when you have Rachel singing over something; it just instantly brings you back to the Slowdive vibe. Insanely good record and, yeah, I can't wait to see what they do next."Watch this moment
"I got Crowbar's 'Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form.' One of my good friends, Mikey Sax, loves this band and we spent many a drunken night and many a stoned morning jamming this record."Watch this moment
"Cool subject matter, like menstrual vampirism. Can't go wrong."Watch this moment
"The first time we played Leipzig, we were backstage at the show drinking to get over the jet lag and someone brought up the infamous Dead quote, 'Come on, Leipzig, join us.' Pure fucking armageddon."Watch this moment
